​One of what I call “Ryan’s Sentimental Projects” this is Elvira. She’s a very nice black granddaughter of my Pepsi Max stallion who was one of my lifetime favorite horses. He set the bar for exemplary disposition. Elvira's story goes like this: I had sold her mother, Bow, to some folks who had her for a few years and then they wanted to sell her back. I bought her back in foal but the foal was supposed to go back to them. Bow had this stunningly beautiful black filly, who of course reminded me of her grandsire, so I had to buy her too! Like all the mares we have here, Elvira's look is strong yet feminine, and her mind is quiet but aware. And now you know - the rest of the story.
